New Instructor Qualification Process
Join RENI’s team of exceptional instructors for the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and other courses. Many nationwide and local opportunities exist.
Instructors must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Passion for teaching and for helping others learn
- Current teaching experience using adult interactive learning techniques
- Successful completion of CNE course as student
- College degree (4-year or higher) PLUS 2 years of practical real estate experience
- OR a minimum 5 years of practical real estate and teaching experience
- Attendance at one day RENI Instructor Workshop once each year
Instructor Approval and Qualification Process:
- Submit resume
- Phone or personal interview
- Candidate notified of acceptance by RENI
- An accepted instructor must:
- sign a Non-Exclusive Licensing Agreement
- attend CNE course as a student/auditor with either John Wenner or Tom Hayman
- purchase the CNE/MCNE Instructor Packet ($200)
- review course material with RENI principle prior to first teaching assignment
- attend one RENI/REEA IDW (or equivalent) within 12 months of acceptance
Instructor Expectations:
- Master and adhere to CNE/MCNE course content
- Teach with passion and be available for student assistance
- Promote professionalism and high standards
- Teach a minimum of six CNE/MCNE classes annually
- Provide feedback on CNE/MCNE course improvements from self and students
